About KreativKonsum KreativKonsum is a design studio based in Zurich, founded in 2012. In their own workshop, the team realizes projects in the fields of product design, user-centered design, game and learning design, scenography, and graphics. The studio works on both client commissions and self-initiated projects, focusing on a close connection between conceptual design and artisanal execution. Core Competencies The studio covers several disciplines: product design for physical objects, user-centered concepts for improving user experiences, playful and didactic concepts in game and learning design, spatial presentations in scenography, and visual communication in graphics. In their workshop, the team develops and builds models and prototypes, and produces selected products in small series — a clear advantage for rapid iteration and quality control. Approach and Methodology KreativKonsum follows a practical, interdisciplinary approach. The designers work closely with clients, test prototypes in real-world contexts, and consider technical developments as well as social aspects. Sustainability is an integral part of their thinking: material selection, production processes, and the extended lifespan of products are considered early in the process.
