Valeria Mangani, former vice President of AltaRoma SpA and founder of Made in Italy Luxury, the platform that aims to introduce Italian SMEs in some foreign markets, at the invitation of the latter. Objective: to enhance Italian luxury products through tight scouting, possible only with experience and knowledge of the luxury market. The perception of Made in Italy abroad is absolutely iconic: a true sublimation of style through all that is perceived Italian. It is the well-made that, if worn, exudes allure. Made in Italy Luxury can therefore represent a chance for medium and small craft businesses that alone would not be able to fit into those big spender niche markets, generally wary, like, to cite an example, Qatar: one of the fastest-growing economies of growth on a world scale, boasting the highest per capita GDP in the world. And it is in Doha that Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition takes place, sponsored by H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassa Bint Hamad Bin Al Thani, daughter of the owner of the brand Valentino, Sheikh Mozah, as well as sister of the emir in charge. At the request of Sheikh Aysha Al Thani, Valeria Mangani has brought the excellence of our luxury craftsmanship to the event that sees the woman as protagonist, as can be deduced from the name Heya. The Qatar Business Incubator Center and the Ministry of Tourism are the promoters of this event which aims to promote female entrepreneurship, organized by DesignCreationz. An all-female fair, then, Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition, which also aims to be a moment of exchange with collateral events: book presentation, cultural meetings, shopping and fashion shows. Even in Qatar, women who love luxury are looking for unique, personalized items, like those made by the skilled hands of our artisans who have always distinguished themselves in the world. Being present at Heya is a first step on a market, that of Qatar which has great potential. And we are already working for the next edition. The Made in Italy Luxury pavilion was a great success. The companies said they were satisfied and fifty percent of these signed contracts directly at the fair. In five days the pavilions were visited by 16,000 visitors, as well as by Skeicca Aysha Al Thani who personally congratulated the Italian designers.
